Dear you, you are amazing.

If you could give your past self one piece of fitness advice, what would it be? Inspired by a recent post by Popsugar Fitness, we thought back to the beginning of our fitness journey. What do we wish we’d known at the beginning of our journey? What advice would be pass along to those taking their first step? We took the time to think about these questions, then wrote a little note to our past self. Check them out below:

My fitness journey has been a true adventure. I’ve pushed myself in ways that I never knew I could and have learned so much about myself and my body. I am strong, mentally and physically, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

We believe what we see. But we often don’t see the full picture, especially when we are comparing ourselves to other. There is not much I would change about my fitness journey. The process of learning and trusting my body has been such a joy. It’s been my own and I’ve made great accomplishments in my own time. That makes me proud.
